Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 2026 • Please read these terms carefully
01. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, using, or navigating MediaMate Hub ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue your use of the Service immediately.
02. Description of Service
MediaMate Hub operates exclusively as an automated caching and conversion proxy service. We provide a technical tool that allows users to extract metadata and convert media formats from publicly accessible URLs. The Service acts solely as an intermediary technical conduit.
03. No Affiliation
MediaMate Hub is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to YouTube LLC, Google LLC, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. YouTube™ is a registered trademark of Google LLC. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, product names, and logos appearing on the Service belong to their respective owners. Any reference to third-party brands is purely for identification purposes and does not imply any endorsement, partnership, or association.
04.User Responsibilities & Copyright
Our Service is designed STRICTLY for "time-shifting" and "format-shifting" of content to which you already possess the legal right to access and download. This includes your own content, public domain content, Creative Commons licensed material, or content where you have obtained explicit permission from the copyright holder.
- You represent and warrant that you have the explicit permission of the copyright owner to download and convert any content processed through our Service.
- You agree not to use our Service to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- You agree that any downloaded content is for personal, private, non-commercial use ONLY.
- You bear sole and full legal responsibility for any content you choose to process using our Service.
- You agree not to redistribute, upload, share, sell, license, or otherwise make publicly available any content obtained through our Service.
- You acknowledge that circumventing digital rights management (DRM) systems may violate applicable laws in your jurisdiction, and you assume all risk associated with such actions.
05. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable international copyright legislation, MediaMate Hub maintains a policy to terminate access for users who are repeat infringers. We reserve the right to block, throttle, or permanently ban any user or IP address that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be a repeat infringer of copyright or these Terms.
06. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEDIAMATE HUB, ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, AND HOSTING PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We merely provide a conduit tool and have no control over the actions of our users. The operators of this Service do not monitor, control, endorse, or accept responsibility for any content processed through this proxy.
07. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MediaMate Hub, its operators, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
08.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operators reside, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts.
09. Service Availability
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
